2020 COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT GRANT RECIPIENTS
This year’s recipients include farmers, food educators, gardeners, a commercial kitchen, and a seed library; they will each receive a grant of $500. We salute each of them for the work they’re doing to provide access to good, clean and fair food for all, and we encourage you to support them as well.
Beardsley Farm – in support of their summer Farm Camps for kids
Bridge Refugee Services, In. – in support of their Refugee Community Garden program
Mountain Harvest Kitchen – in support of a scholarship program for food entrepreneurs
Pond Gap Elementary School – in support of their summer cooking programs, including the Community Cooking Club
Rain Crow Farm – for the purchase a water filtration system and drip irrigation
Seymour Seed Library – for the purchase of seeds and other supplies for the library
Once again this year, we received many more worthy applications than we had the ability to support. We thank everyone who applied, and encourage them to keep up the good work!
