Four Daughters Farm – Walland, TN

Four Daughters Farm is a female-led, family owned, diversified production farm in the heart of Appalachia. They provide Walland, Townsend, and the surrounding community with fresh, naturally grown produce, eggs, and chicken. Their ultimate goal is sustainable farming practices with land preservation at the forefront of their farm philosophy.

BattleField Farm & Gardens – East Knoxville, TN

BattleField Farm & Gardens fights food disparities in East Knoxville by establishing community gardens, selling produce at the Eastside Sunday Market, offering educational events for youth & adults, and partnering with local farms & churches to distribute free vegetables to the community. Their Veggie Van delivers fresh fruits and vegetables weekly at no cost to residents at several subsidized housing location, many of whom are elderly, disabled, and on fixed incomes. Their goal is to reduce disease and increase quality of life and access to great food in East Knoxville.

Chattanooga Food Center – Chattanooga,  TN

The Chattanooga Food Center’s mission focuses on improving food access, providing nutrition education, and inspiring engagement in regional agriculture. They envision a vibrant, well-nourished community through projects like the Gaining Ground Grocery, community garden beds, and the Little Free Library. These projects provide fresh produce to low income shoppers, create access to free herbs for cooking, and engage the community with literature related to cooking & sustainable food practices.
